Hi! I’m Kimani. I am an indie screenwriter and producer, photographer, and content creator. So obviously, I do a little acting and video editing on the side. Fun fact: I went to engineering school even though I had a love for film and acting. While Film Production was my minor, Engineering was my major, but it’s my backup to use as a secret weapon if I ever come to my senses LOL.

I have worked on several productions as a PA, 1st AD, 2nd AD, and indie producer. Most recently, I have received the honor of Semi-finalist for the ScreenCraft Virtual Pitch Competition Spring 2022 as well as Honorable Mention for Spring 2023 ISA TV Pitch Challenge for my ‘Burning Sage’ pilot pitch. I currently have 11 completed scripts. One of features’ Proof of Concept was a collaboration filmed Summer 2023, entitled ‘Aman’.

Personally, I have several obsessions: my husband, my cats, interior design, Hamilton, Disney movies, Shrek, and anything that Shonda Rhimes or Jordan Peele create.
